Hello! My name is Megan Carter. I am the director of Education and Outreach here at Germantown Community Theatre. GCT has lots of exciting things going on for kids and adults alike...
	Fun in Theatre (FIT) is the umbrella title for our classes, camps and workshops. We offer Saturday classes, Homeschool Programs, Camps & Classes, and occasionally special Workshops.
All Children’s Theatre (ACT) is our summer performance series. Every summer we stage an outdoor musical and an in-house play. There are lots of opportunities for children to act, sing, dance, build sets, help with costumes and assist backstage… this is theatre truly created by kids!
	Fairy Tale Trail is part of the Germantown Parks and Recreation's "Festival of Fun and Fright" is a brief, but fun, forest journey during which a favorite fairy tale is told along the way. A fun-filled mix of dialogue, lip synching songs and dance, kids will present a humorous and entertaining Halloween experience for the whole family. The Rising Stars - Young Artist Concert is a special fundraising event for Germantown Kiwanis. We look for the finest artist talent in Germantown. Everything from musicians to dancers will audition for the chance to perform a professional concert at Germantown Performing Arts Center. For more information see the Germantown Kiwanis Web-Site.
	Silver Stars is our senior play reading program. In both the fall and the spring Adults and Senior Citizens are welcome to join us every Tuesday for one month as we eat pastries, drink coffee and read a play aloud. Play a part or just listen in!
